Creating the perfect Easter table with Sarah at Shipponbarn

Easter is one of my favourite times to bring loved ones together for a meal, and a beautifully set table makes the occasion feel even more special. Whether you're hosting a big family gathering or a smaller springtime brunch, here are my top tips for creating a beautiful Easter table scape, featuring some gorgeous pieces from Wrendale Designs.

Choose a Spring Inspired Colour Palette

When I think of Easter, I picture soft, pastel shades - gentle creams, fresh greens, buttery yellows, and sky blues. These pops of colour bring that light, joyful feel of spring indoors. One of the easiest ways to incorporate them is through one of Wrendale's new table runners, which feature gorgeous illustrations. They make the perfect backdrop for your Easter spread.

Layer Your Table Setting

Begin with a light, airy tablecloth as your base, then add a beautifully designed Wrendale table runner. I love pairing it with the matching placemats and napkins from the collection - not only are they practical, but they also bring a charming touch of country inspired elegance. To tie it all together, layer your dinner plates and coupe plates.

Add Seasonal Decorations

Easter decorations should feel fresh, fun, and effortless! I love scattering decorative eggs and adding fresh flowers in simple vases for a beautiful, natural touch - not to mention the lovely fragrance they bring to the table.

Fold or Style Napkins Creatively

A beautifully styled napkin is such a small detail, but it makes a big difference! I've used bunny shaped wicker napkin rings with my Wrendale napkins to create a beautiful natural look. This simple detail perfectly complements the gorgeous countryside-inspired illustrations on the napkins, bringing the whole table setting together effortlessly.
