Christmas traditions with Hannah Dale
At Christmas, spending time with family and friends and making new memories is what's most important - forget how many presents are under the tree, it's often the little things that make it the most special.
Over the years I have discovered I have quite a few Christmas traditions. I thought I would share them with you all and hopefully they inspire you to start a new tradition this Christmas as well...
A new decoration
Each year, my best friend and I buy one another a special decoration to add to the tree - each one has it's own memories attached and it's a really lovely tradition.
Christmas planning
We did huge amounts of work when we developed our Christmas planner to make sure it was the best on the market! I love using it to plan my Christmas shopping, organise my Christmas card lists and coordinate Christmas entertaining.
Countdown to christmas
I always send an illustrated advent calendar to my nieces and nephews each year - they love to receive it in the post and it's such a lovely way to count down the days!
Send christmas cards
A handwritten message on a special card means so much - I love to send cards at Christmas and always get excited when the first ones start to arrive in the post!
Express gratitude
I always have a drawer full of thank you cards and notelets which come in handy over the Christmas period. It's so important to say thank you and there is really nothing better than receiving a hand written card.
