Thinking of You Week - Spreading a little joy, one card at a time

At Wrendale, we’re all about adding a little extra joy to the everyday, so when 'Thinking of You Week' came around this year, we saw the perfect opportunity to do just that. This week is all about reaching out with thoughtful messages, and we wanted to take it a step further by turning it into a community-wide experience.

The Plan

We started with our beautifully designed miniature cards, each featuring one of Hannah's classic country set illustrations. But instead of leaving them blank, we filled them with positive and inspiring quotes - words meant to brighten someone’s day or give them a little boost when they least expect it.

THE CARD DROP

Instead of handing these cards out directly, we wanted people to stumble upon them, adding a touch of unexpected joy to their day. With stacks of feel-good cards in hand, the team set off to our local town. We tucked them into flower beds, left them on park benches, placed them on lampposts, and even got to witness passers-by discovering them.

THE REACTION

It wasn’t long before we started hearing back from people who’d found our cards. Some shared their stories on social media, letting us know how much those simple messages brightened their day. Others passed the cards along, spreading the positivity even further. It was incredible to see how such a small gesture could create a ripple effect of kindness throughout our community.

Looking Ahead

'Thinking of You Week' is something we look forward to in the calendar every year at Wrendale, and seeing how much happiness those little cards brought to people around us is all the motivation we needed to start planning for next year. We’ve got a few ideas up our sleeves, and we can’t wait to see what kind of impact we can make next time around.
